It doesn’t matter if you plan to be the best World of Warcraft Priest or World of Warcraft Paladin, or maybe you are happy playing a twink, you are going to need gold at some point.

Want an epic mount? Want to be able to buy Merciless Gladiator’s Vestments? Maybe you want your World of Warcraft Priest to have Holy Nova? How are you going to be able to keep up with the mana requirements?

Would you like to be able to be able to enchant a weapon with Major Healing? Do you realize that you need 8 Large Prismatic Shards? The lowest you can purchase a Prismatic Shard is 7 gold but more like 23 when it’s all said and done. Each. That’s not to mention the 8 Primal Waters and 8 Primal Life at minimum of 1 gold each but more like 20 gold each.

What I’m trying to say is that no matter what you do in World of Warcraft, whether you’re tanking in Darkmoon Faire or Shattrath City, you’re going to need gold at some point. If you think that Lifeless Stones are going to be the way that you purchase your Cleansed Ashbringer at 130 gold, you’re crazy.

There has to be a better way right to get gold, or “Warcraft Riches”, in Azeroth.

However, it’s one thing to sit there and grind your way to warcraft riches night after night, busting Murlocs by Grom’Gol or the Yeti in the Feral Scare Vale in Feralas, but after a while doesn’t that get boring? There is an easier way to aquire your warcraft riches.

Derek wanted gold, warcraft riches, and it forced him to something about it. He spent plenty of time researching, and following players, asking them questions, questioning them on what exactly they were doing to make gold.

There was a guild on his server known as “BlackCat” the guild was full of Chinese gold farmers. The guild had a bad reputation on the server and they were known for being scammers, Ninja Looters and Chinese gold farmers. So after begging and begging to get into the guild, and fighting through broken English they finally invited him into their guild.

This is where everything clicked. He followed them around, questioned his new guild, did 5 man runs with them in Zul’Farrak, went to Uldaman, Scarlet Monestary, and just followed them around to unique farming zones all over the game. Some of them you might even know about, but some of them would just blow you away if you download warcraft riches and find out about them.

During this process of learning he also found a forum that is still around today. It is a forum that players frequent to trade, buy and sell gold, items, accounts mainly for World of Warcraft.

So after deciding to experiment a little bit and he sold some gold. When he got the money into his PayPal account, he kept thinking of ways to make gold, and make actual money from that gold. Derek kept expanding and expanding until he began moving into selling actual characters to other players. This made him even more money.

While they were scanning he would be farming on each of those new servers, just leveling up a rogue to make some quick gold. He would usually farm until he got about 2 gold on each server. He used this 2 gold and marched it all the way into making hundreds of gold on each of these servers. This gold wasn’t used for anything but making more money. He took the gold and sent it over to gold farming companies, who would buy it from Derek at a decent price and then sell it to the population for a killing.

Each day Derek would play on each of his 7 servers, probably around 20-30 minutes a day each. That is anywhere between 2.25 hours to 3.5 hours a day. The rest of the time was spent on his characters having fun, massing gold on his main character, or leveling up another character to sell on the Traders forum.

After building up around 90,000g (added up on all the characters) he decided to start selling the gold to other players. He continued to sell gold for a very long time until Blizzard started banning World of Warcraft players for breaking the economy.

It took Derek Beachler two years to learn all the auction house methods that he includes in Warcraft Riches. Right now is the easiest time to make money from the auction house since the increase in gold. Burning crusade flooded many accounts with gold, and this gives you the opportunity to make money from players that never used to have the amount of gold we were targeting.

In a market where 10g-20g was a decent size purchase for most players, it’s now increased to where 20-25g is a common price for a stack of materials.

Your epic flying mount is now 5,000g away from you, instead of it being 1,000g as it was before. So this means you have to know ever more about gold to get your prized possession.
