Warcraft Causes Teen Suicide?
While we all know that the holidays bring out the depression in all of us, this 17 year old took it to extremes when talking to his World of Warcraft technical support representative.
“A 17-year-old Fairfield Twp. teen pretended to be suicidal when he became frustrated with an online video game, Fairfield Twp. police reported.”
I mean I know tech support can be a nightmare but this seems a little bit over the top to me:
The teen was having an online conversation with a representative of Blizzard Entertainment, an online video game company, when he typed that “he was suicidal and that the game is the only thing he has to live for,” according to the report.
Looks like he might end up with a +1 cornholing?
According to officials, the teen was arrested Monday, Dec. 29, for inducing panic after patrol officers and medics responded to the boy’s home in the 3000 block of Pimlico Court. The charge is a first-degree misdemeanor.
